Cookie policy
What cookies Umbrixon uses, why, and how to change your choice at any time.
Last updated: October 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work, some measure how the site is used, and others are used by advertising partners to show and measure ads. You choose whether to accept the non-essential ones.
2. Essential cookies
Umbrixon stores a single essential item in your browser to remember your cookie choice, so you are not asked again after you accept. It carries no personal data and is not shared. Passwords and passphrases typed into Key Gauge, Key Mint and Phrase Smith stay in your browser regardless, because those tools run entirely client-side.
3. Analytics cookies
Umbrixon runs its own first-party analytics to see which tools get used and count visits. It sets a cookie on your device, holds no personal data, and goes to no one else. Anything you type into the scanners stays client-side regardless.
4. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
If you accept, Umbrixon shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners set advertising cookies to display ads, cap how often you see them, and measure performance. These cookies load only after you accept, and never before. You can review how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
5. Changing your choice
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer to withdraw consent. You can also clear cookies in your browser at any time. If you do not accept, advertising cookies are not set and the ad code is not loaded.
6. Visitors in the EEA and the UK
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, advertising cookies are only used with your consent, in line with the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it, through the link above.
